1. About Us

Fingertips AI ("we", "us", "our") operates www.fingertips-ai.com (the "Website"). Fingertips AI provides AI-powered transcription and related automated language processing services on a subscription basis.

If you require bespoke human services such as professional proofreading, manual transcription correction, or closed captioning, you will be referred to our sister company, Fingertips Typing Services. Separate terms and conditions apply to those services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using our Website and services, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our services.

3. Eligibility

You must:

  • Be at least 18 years old;
  • Have authority to enter into a legally binding agreement;
  • Provide accurate and complete registration information.

4. Description of Services

Fingertips AI provides:

All services are delivered digitally via subscription access.

5. Subscription & Billing

Subscription Model

We operate on a monthly subscription-only model.

We do not offer pay-as-you-go services. For bespoke services such as human proofreading and captioning, you will be invoiced via Fingertips Typing Services Limited.

Payment

  • Subscription fees are billed monthly in advance.
  • Payment must be made via approved payment methods listed on the Website.
  • By subscribing, you authorise recurring monthly payments.

Renewals

Subscriptions automatically renew each month unless cancelled before the next billing cycle.

Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account dashboard.

Cancellation will take effect at the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided unless required by law.

Failed Payments

If payment fails:

  • Access to services may be suspended;
  • We may retry billing;
  • Continued non-payment may result in termination.

6. No Guarantee of Accuracy

Our services rely on artificial intelligence technology.

While we aim for high accuracy, we do not guarantee:

  • 100% accurate transcription;
  • Error-free output;
  • Suitability for legal, medical, or official purposes without review.

You are responsible for reviewing and verifying outputs before use.

For professionally proofed or certified outputs, you will be referred to Fingertips Typing Services, where separate terms apply.

7. User Responsibilities

You agree that you will not:

  • Upload unlawful, defamatory, or infringing content;
  • Upload material that violates intellectual property rights;
  • Use the service for illegal purposes;
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or misuse the platform;
  • Share login credentials with unauthorised users.

You remain fully responsible for the content you upload.

8. Intellectual Property

Our Rights

All software, branding, AI systems, logos, and platform design remain the property of Fingertips AI. You may not copy, distribute, or exploit any part of the platform without written consent.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload.

By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service.

9. Data Protection & Confidentiality

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection laws.

We implement reasonable security measures, but no online platform can guarantee absolute security.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the legal right to upload any content.

10. Service Availability

We aim for continuous availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

We may suspend access for:

  • Maintenance
  • Security updates
  • Technical issues
  • Legal compliance

We shall not be liable for temporary downtime.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages;
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you in the preceding 3 months;
  • We are not liable for loss of profits, data, business, or reputation.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence where prohibited by law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You breach these Terms;
  • You fail to pay subscription fees;
  • We suspect unlawful activity.

Upon termination, access to your account may be removed.

13. Referral to Sister Company

Where you request bespoke or human-delivered services (including proofreading, manual transcription correction, or captioning), those services will be provided under the separate Terms and Conditions of Fingertips Typing Services.

Fingertips AI accepts no liability for services provided under that separate agreement.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.

Updated versions will be posted on the Website with a revised effective date.

Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
